His Story
The Champion Who Was Never Defeated
For thirteen consecutive years — from 1970 to 1983 — Abedin Gilo Lame stood undefeated in every domestic competition. He won every Albanian National Championship and Republic Cup title, represented his country at the World Championships in Katowice and the European Championships in Oslo, and rose to become Commander of Albania’s elite special forces unit, the Reparti i Operacioneve Speciale (ROS). Beyond the arena, he founded the wrestling section at FK Partizani, shaping a generation of champions.
